Owner of Metropolitan Hair Boutique, Dawn has been in the beauty industry since 1993. Dawn has trained with a variety of brands and has been coached by industry leaders, which set the stage for her career. In the “early years” Dawn worked at various salons in the Mercer County area, learning the ins and outs of the hair industry, not only by cutting hair, but learning how to run a salon efficiently and professionally.

 

Being behind the chair and having so many satisfied clients was simply not enough for Dawn, she wanted to make the entire salon impression and experience, unforgettable. Anxious to do both, Dawn decided to venture into the world of being a small business owner and opened the doors to The Metropolitan Hair Boutique in Princeton, NJ in the Fall of 2020.

 

As a client of Dawn’s at MHB, you will have the privilege to experience her passion as a stylist, as she always makes her clients look and feel great about themselves. Because every client is different and desire a certain look, Dawn takes the time to get to know each one of her clients personally, their lifestyles and personalities, getting to know what works best for them. This is her secret in achieving that “perfect look”.

 

Clients will also have access to the same professional hair products that Dawn uses at MHB. Dawn takes the time to explain how to use the products and teaches her clients how to maintain that perfect look at home and continue to look great. To accomplish this, Dawn regularly takes classes to continue her beauty education and learns as much as she can about the newest trends and products in the beauty industry.
